Is it time for action? Then, this is the place to read. There are not going to be hard rules on what should be done. Rather, this section is more about how you can make a difference in someone’s life by just sparing a little time, thought and action of yours. A place where the keys to the locks are usually found.
Sometimes, we are pushed. But we don’t mind. Why? Because we know that at times like these, the trough must follow the crest. And when the push comes to a shove, something snaps inside. There is a burning fire that threatens to consume and dictates our state of mind for the next few minutes and even hours, occasionally.
What do you do when something like this happens? Sitting around and fuming, and not making an effort to address the situation is probably not the solution, is it?
As someone rightly said -- “Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us everyday.” Action on your part may be necessary, and it could be vital right now. These are some of the ways in which you can help in bringing a smile on someone’s face. If you make the effort of going out of your way for the benefit of someone unfamiliar, the results could surprise you:
- If there is a way to coordinate an action plan among those who might pitch in for a local activity, please ensure that such an opportunity does not go waste.
Try forming a group of people who have similar ideas as you do, have brainstorming sessions regarding what can be the possible course of action to streamline your ideas. Start out small and build it up from there. Visit places which you feel might need help, be it monetary or otherwise. Spare a few hours every week and spread knowledge among the underprivileged. For, the first time is always difficult but the experience is priceless.
- Joining us is an easy step. Please check if there’s a city that is close to the place of residence and get in touch with any member of ~pankhudi parivaar or send a mail to join@pankhudifoundation.org. We will ensure that we will get in touch as soon as we can.
- If there’s already an NGO working close by and the focus area is strong enough to make the effort to join worthwhile, then please don’t hesitate. The world needs more helping hands.
