"Hope" is a good thing, may be the best of things and no good thing ever dies.
We must count our blessings, for there are many who haven’t been blessed that well.
Divya Bijur is a bright young woman in Bombay. Independent and cheerful,
she gets along well with everyone. And she is visually challenged. ~Pankhudi Pune decided to assist her by training her in a package called Auxel. This project is the brain-child of Omkar Nisal, a member of ~Pankhudi Pune and was developed to enable visually challenged students “perceive” colors through sounds. And the success is visible through the fact that Divya is now an instructor of the Auxel project herself!
With the firm belief that children are same everywhere and deserve equal opportunities, ~Pankhudi, comprising of people with diverse backgrounds ranging from professionals to social activists, endeavours
to create a platform for such children to enable them to be at par with the
others in all arenas of life making their lives that of an eternal winner
and to make the society more aware every passing day. Hence it is our
long-term commitment for emancipating the children of our country, whenever,
wherever and however possible.
Our appeal to you at this hour is, please come forward and gift these
children a childhood filled with smiles and make them self-reliant and
purposeful in the society.
